The program equips students with the ability to evaluate customers' financial status and determine the proper loan option. Students will also acquire the skills to originate new residential mortgages and prepare them for employment with a banking institution, credit union, or other financial institution. Receive an introduction to the mortgage loan application process. Topics include regulatory compliance and documentation; real estate contracts; the mortgage application process, interview techniques; credit, income, and property qualification, quality controls and procedures.
