This certificate has been created to meet the new requirements by Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) as a Transportation Inspector for ODOT, Consultants and contractors. This program meets the education requirements set forth by ODOT and National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) to become a Project Inspector on State and Federal funded projects. The 27 credit hours of courses in this certificate not only help prepare the students to take the NICET Highway Construction Level I exam but also can be applied to the Civil Engineering Technology and Construction Management Degrees.
