Care for ill, injured, or convalescing patients or persons with disabilities in hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, private homes, group homes, and similar institutions. May work under the supervision of a registered nurse. Licensing required.

Admissions
Students must achieve a composite score of 75% on the HESI Entrance Exam in one exam session in order to qualify for admission to the Practical Nursing program. The required 75% score is an average of the following 4 sections of the examination:
- Vocabulary and General Knowledge
- Grammar
- Math
- Reading Comprehension
