The Electricity Program prepares students for entry-level employment for residential contractors, industrial/commercial construction, and maintenance. Students will have the opportunity to Certify through Esco Electrical, HVAC Excellence, and OSHA. The Electricity Programs is a one year program consisting of 900 clock-hours with an optional 2nd year consisting of 900 clock-hours. Classes meet Monday-Thursday from 4 p.m. till 10:00 p.m.

Electricians
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes. May install or service street lights, intercom systems, or electrical control systems.

Admissions
- Must be 18 years of age by the end of the first year enrolled
- Student must be a citizen of the United States or have a permanent residence card
- Provide a high school diploma, transcript, or a G.E.D. Equivalent Certificate (foreign transcripts/diplomas must be evaluated by a qualified agency call the adult education department for more information)
- Complete the program application Pay the application fee of $25.00 (non-refundable)
