The Supply Chain Management program offered by Collin College will provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to gain competency in the management of supply chain activities, including logistics, purchasing, inventory and warehouse management. The program prepares students for employment in a variety of roles in the rapidly growing supply chain management eld which currently employs more than 6 million people and is anticipated to grow by 1.4 million jobs over the coming years.

Duties include reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipment schedules; conferring with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates; and compiling reports on progress of work, inventory levels, costs, and production problems.
