Clover Park Technical College is a member of the Cisco Networking Academy community in 165 different countries. Our Cisco program delivers a comprehensive, 21st-century learning experience to help students develop the foundational information and communication technology skills needed to design, build, secure, and manage networks. Our program also helps students develop career skills, such as problem-solving, collaboration, and critical thinking. This certificate uses a blended-learning model that combines face-to-face teaching with engaging online content and hands-on learning activities to help students prepare for entry-level and advanced careers; and higher education in engineering, computer science, information systems, and related fields. The courses’ learning objectives support the Cisco Certified Network Associate exam standards for the desktop and server operating systems, though this is not a certification preparation program.

Install, configure, and maintain an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers. Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems. Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups. Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access. Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses. May assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.
