The Construction Management program at City College is comprehensive and provides students with the practical knowledge and skills required to be effective in the professional environment. Construction Managers work closely with Owners, Architects, Engineers, Contractors, Governmental Agencies, and others. They are involved with all phases of construction projects, from inception to move-in and occupancy, making sure that the project gets done safely, on time, and within budget. The Construction Management profession is a dynamic and exciting field that requires a unique combination of technical, analytical, creative, and communication skills.

Carpenters
Construct, erect, install, or repair structures and fixtures made of wood and comparable materials, such as concrete forms; building frameworks, including partitions, joists, studding, and rafters; and wood stairways, window and door frames, and hardwood floors. May also install cabinets, siding, drywall, and batt or roll insulation. Includes brattice builders who build doors or brattices (ventilation walls or partitions) in underground passageways.
