The welding certificate program provides workplace safety training and is designed to expose students to the most common welding process, blue-print reading, and applications used in the welding industry: OAC (oxygen acetylene cutting), PAC (plasma arc cutting), OAW (oxygen acetylene welding), GMAW (gas metal arc welding), SMAW (shielded metal arc welding), FCAW (flux cored arc welding), and GTAW (gas tungsten arc welding). This Welding Certificate prepares students to meet the welding industry’s expectations of a skilled entry-level welder.
