The Diesel Technology program at Cecil College provides hands-on training in inspecting, repairing, and servicing diesel engines. Structured into five modules, the curriculum covers essential topics such as safety procedures, tool usage, engine systems, cooling and exhaust systems, fuel injection, electrical systems, and engine reassembly. Each module is designed to build upon the previous one, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of diesel engine technology. The program also prepares students for the ASE Medium-Heavy Truck Certification Tests (T2, T6, T8), which are recognized industry credentials.
