Basic Peace Officer Academy
at Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office
Louisiana Catalog
The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office Training Academy was designated a regional training facility in the fall of 2001. The Northwest Planning District it serves consists of Caddo, Bossier, Webster, Claiborne, Lincoln, Bienville, DeSoto, Red River, Natchitoches, and Sabine parishes. The Academy takes its responsibility seriously by providing training for the district that is relevant and up to date, but cost effective. The Training Academy pledges its support to the many agencies and communities we serve. We welcome the opportunity to respond to law enforcement training needs by providing quality training and promoting professionalism in this rapidly changing field. We fully recognize that support for law enforcement hinges upon the degree of trust we gain from the public we serve. Therefore, we have chosen our motto carefully, and incorporate it into everything we instill into others…
