The A+ Certification Program offers a standard of excellence to the PC support industry. CompTIA A+ program prepares you for certification by providing instruction on system configuration, installation, upgrades, diagnosis, repair, preventive maintenance, and safety of vendor-neutral PC Hardware. Many high-tech companies require their support staff to be certified. You will obtain the skills and knowledge necessary to install, build, maintain, and configure personal computers, laptop computers, and printers. You will learn the principles of physical and TCP/IP networks. You will learn operational and professional procedures as an IT technician. You will learn how to support personal computers, mobile devices, and small networks in a business setting, including hardware and software troubleshooting, Windows installation and configuration, networking, and security. You will learn how to maintain PCs in a workplace.
