This series will provide you with the tools, tactics, and strategies you need to have a successful career in the supply chain field. You will learn purchasing fundamentals for improving your company's bottom-line profitability, distributions and logistics management for fulfilling customer demands, and supply chain management fundamentals for balancing top management's interests with those of shop floor workers. Some of the courses in this series will even prepare you to sit for nationally recognized certifications. By the end of the series, you will have built the knowledge and skills you need for success in a supply chain role.

Production, Planning, and Expediting Clerks
Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule. Duties include reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipment schedules; conferring with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates; and compiling reports on progress of work, inventory levels, costs, and production problems.
