The Phlebotomy program at BCIT Adult Education prepares students for entry-level positions in the healthcare field by providing the knowledge and hands-on training needed to safely and effectively collect blood specimens. Students will learn proper techniques in venipuncture, capillary collection, specimen handling, and infection control. The program combines classroom instruction with clinical practice to ensure graduates are confident and competent in a variety of medical settings. Upon successful completion, students will be eligible to sit for national certification exams and pursue careers in hospitals, laboratories, and other healthcare facilities.
