The Carpentry I & II program at Burlington County Institute of Technology (BCIT) Adult Education offers a comprehensive, hands-on curriculum designed to equip students with essential carpentry skills for entry-level employment in the construction industry. Conducted at the Medford Campus, each course spans 180 hours over 40 sessions, scheduled on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Carpenters
Construct, erect, install, or repair structures and fixtures made of wood and comparable materials, such as concrete forms; building frameworks, including partitions, joists, studding, and rafters; and wood stairways, window and door frames, and hardwood floors. May also install cabinets, siding, drywall, and batt or roll insulation. Includes brattice builders who build doors or brattices (ventilation walls or partitions) in underground passageways.
