This competency-based course is the first in a sequence of two designed for Plumbing education. It provides students with project-based experiences in plumbing techniques. Instruction includes orientation, workplace safety policies, and procedures, techniques for communications, and the theories of plumbing. OSHA-10 instructions and licensing. The goal of the Plumbing program is to ensure students are qualified for an entry-level position in the plumbing field.

Assemble, install, alter, and repair pipelines or pipe systems that carry water, steam, air, or other liquids or gases. May install heating and cooling equipment and mechanical control systems. Includes sprinkler fitters.

Admissions
Anyone eighteen years or older may enroll in adult education classes. Registration is on a space-available basis and is determined at the time of enrollment. Selected classes will require an assessment and orientation session prior to registering. The following priorities are used if more are interested in enrolling than can be accommodated: 1) adults residing in the district; 2) adults residing in other districts.
