The Sacramento Regional Public Safety Training Center is certified by the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) to present the Regular Basic Academy in an Extended Modular Format. The Academy is designed to provide contemporary and practical classroom presentation of legal concepts, hands-on training in police tactics and weapons usage, and scenario-based learning activities.
