Our training program prepares the student not only to pass the rigid Oral, Skills, and Drive Test for DMV but, will also prepare you to safely operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle on public roadways. Students will learn to master the Pre-Trip inspection as well as the Airbrakes, Skills, And Driving Tests. Each student is required to complete the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT) requirements including; Theory instruction and testing, passing with a score of 80% or better. Behind the Wheel Public Roadway is ten (10) hours minimum and Behind the Wheel Range/Backing Skills is five (5) hours minimum. AAA Academy’s training program length is 4 weeks, 160 hours.
