Job Description
Cash Posting and Reconciliation Team Lead:
Support the cash reconciliation team, providing guidance, training, and support to team members. Oversee the daily reconciliation of cash transactions. Monitoring incoming Zero deposit 835 files with a primary focus on Forward Balance resolution. Review reconciliation reports and tracking sheets for accuracy and completeness. Identify and investigate discrepancies in cash reconciliation, working to resolve open balances timely. Collaborate with finance, accounting, and AR operation teams to address reconciliation challenges. Analyze existing cash reconciliation processes and recommend improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Maintain updates to job aids and work instructions. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports for leadership. Provide analysis of cash flow trends and variances to support financial decision making. Assist with providing documentation for internal and external audits. Act as a liaison between the cash team and other internal departments, facilitating effective communication and collaboration. Prepare and present updates on cash reconciliation activities to leadership. Respond to inquiries related to cash transaction and reconciliation, including SharePoint requests, Zero Dollar remittances and Forward Balances. Required Qualifications 3+ year Healthcare, Insurance, or banking related experience. Experience using Microsoft Office products' specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word. Must be able to commute to the Monroeville, PA office. Preferred Qualifications Cash posting experience in a healthcare environment. Understanding of explanation of benefits. Customer service in a healthcare environment. Experience working in a healthcare reimbursement system. Effective customer service skills and experience that shows ability to work in a team environment. Attention to detail. Ability to utilize analytical skills. Ability to navigate through multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize based on importance while displaying strong attention to detail. Ability to communicate with clientele in a professional manner; both verbally and written. Education Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required. Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $18.50 - $35.29 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
