We are seeking a dedicated and skilled phlebotomist to join our team. This role involves both out-patient and in-patient responsibilities, ensuring high-quality care and accurate specimen collection.

Out-Patient Responsibilities:

+ Perform blood draws throughout the day, averaging 6 to 12 draws per hour. + Work primarily in the same room for most of the shift.

In-Patient Responsibilities:

+ Move throughout the hospital facility to collect blood samples from patients. + Respond to emergency/code situations to collect blood samples (training will be provided). + Collect and recollect various specimen samples. + Spin down and freeze specimens as required.

General Responsibilities:

+ Perform data entry for all collected samples. + Utilize a positive patient ID system to ensure accuracy and patient safety.
