Aerotek Industrial Electrician:
30.85 Hr. in Mobile , Alabama Working with a steel pipe manufacturing company in the Mobile area that is seeking qualified Industrial Electricians!!! Job Description We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in an industrial plant or manufacturing environment. This role requires a high level of expertise in troubleshooting and modifying PLC-based equipment, as well as a strong understanding of various electrical components and systems. Responsibilities Receive work instructions, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and specifications to perform scheduled, emergency, routine repairs, calibrations, and/or preventative maintenance. Interpret drawings/sketches to determine the best work procedures, tools, and equipment needed to troubleshoot/repair problems. Repair, rebuild, and test electrical components to ensure equipment is back up and running as quickly and efficiently as possible. Perform maintenance on existing equipment (80%) and upgrade equipment (20%). Troubleshoot electrical systems using ladder logic, electrical prints, and/or schematics, with knowledge of 3-phase electricity. Work with AC/DC motors, generators, transformers, circuit breakers, rectifiers, electronic controls, control panels, starters, switches, lighting equipment, electronic scales, power distribution, communication systems, inverters/motor drives, conduit, and fittings. Diagnose problems and/or failures and repair a variety of equipment, including presses and machines. Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure the ongoing functioning of required tools and equipment. Maintain tools and equipment to ensure their availability in safe operating condition. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and hydraulic press systems and programmable controls. Read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics for troubleshooting and repair. Essential Skills Five years of experience in an industrial plant or manufacturing environment. Proficiency in using computer-based software to complete job tasks. Ability to troubleshoot and modify PLC-based equipment. Experience with AC/DC motors, transformers, circuit breakers, rectifiers, electronic controls, control panels, inverters, and motor drives. Ability to work with conduit and fittings, wire and cable, and hardware installation. Skill in print reading, drawing interpretation, wiring diagrams, and schematics. Proper use of tools and measuring devices. A safe work mentality. Experience with ladder logic and electrical troubleshooting. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma. 3-5 years of experience working as an industrial electrician in heavy industrial facilities. Experience using multi-meters. Experience working with 3-phase motors.Schedule:
2 week Rotating Schedule. 3 weeks of month is Day shift with 1 week on Overnights, will get consistent 40hrs and abovePay:
