The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding clients through the loan application process, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong financial sales skills, the ability to negotiate effectively, and proficiency in financial software to facilitate smooth transactions. Responsibilities Evaluate clients' financial information and credit history to determine eligibility for loan products. Assist clients in completing loan applications and gathering necessary documentation. Explain loan options, terms, and conditions to clients clearly and concisely. Negotiate loan terms with clients and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including Fair Housing regulations. Collaborate with escrow companies and other stakeholders to facilitate the closing process. Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications using financial software such as Quicken. Provide ongoing customer service support throughout the loan process to ensure client satisfaction. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and changes in lending regulations. Qualifications Proven experience in financial sales or a related field is preferred. Strong understanding of Fair Housing regulations and contract negotiations. Proficiency in using financial software; experience with Quicken is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. Ability to perform mathematical calculations accurately (10 key typing skills are beneficial). Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple loans simultaneously.
