Basic Job Functions:
The primary role of the Mechanical Technician is to be part of a team supporting our operations team with a focus on Safety, Quality, Reliability, Costs, and Continuous Improvement. This includes but is not limited to troubleshooting, equipment installation and upgrade, and performing various types of maintenance activities (predictive, preventative, corrective, etc.) in a demanding work environment. Ability to work rotating shift, scheduled and unscheduled overtime, including nights, weekends and holidays. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent Mechanical Maintenance and troubleshooting experience
Preferred Qualifications:
