Fire Sprinkler Technician Pay:
$32+ / Hr.Hours:
Monday - Friday 8-5 OT Required as Needed On Call Duty / after-hours calls are required.Job Duties:
Inspections of sprinkler systems Create accurate and thorough reports Repair sprinkler systems in accordance with work orders Follow all safety procedures and use proper PPE Communicate solutions to identified deficiencies with customer Cut, thread, and install black pipe Maintain professional attitude Coordinate work with manager Provide information required by managers to keep jobs organized and customers informed of progress Keep the vehicle clean and organized Complete paperwork as required on a timely basis Perform other duties as assignedJob Requirements:
Must possess customer oriented interpersonal skills Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills Must possess strong organizational skills Must have a strong mechanical aptitude Ability to exercise effective time management skills (prioritize, work on a timeline) Ability to visually inspect and service sprinkler and backflow systems Ability to recognize alarm sights and sounds Ability to understand and interpret industry codes and standards Ability to effectively use a Sprinkler Pipe Threader Ability to effectively use backflow tester, pipe wrench, various lifts and common pipe fitting tools Ability to safely and effectively use general hand tools and power tools Capable of using various Arial lifts and boom trucks Ability to quickly troubleshoot problems Ability to manage competing demands and frequent changes in a fast-paced work environmentApplicant Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required 2 years or more of fire sprinkler, alarm, or life safety experience required Current driver's license and clean driving record NICET Certification is required RME-I License and Backflow certifications preferredOther Job Posting Details
