This is a unique opportunity to provide dual police and fire services in a small community located just outside Raleigh/Durham, NC. Applicants must be a US citizen, at least 20 years of age, and have a high school education or equivalent. Preference given to candidates that have successfully completed the NC Basic Law Enforcement Training or are currently certified as a Law Enforcement Officer in North Carolina, and/or are certified as a Level II Firefighter in accordance with the NC State Fire Marshal's Office. Selected applicants will be required to complete pre-employment requirements including: background investigation, physical examination, and drug-screening. Position requires working 12-hour rotating shifts.
