, Maryland Aerotek is hiring an electrician & offering a sign on bonus! Job Description The Industrial Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within our manufacturing facility. This role requires a thorough understanding of industrial electrical systems, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components, including motors, control panels, and wiring. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime. Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to ensure seamless operation of manufacturing equipment. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, ensuring a safe working environment. Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance and repair activities. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery. Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in electrical systems and technology. Essential Skills High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electrical systems preferred. Minimum of 1 year performing electrical maintenance tasks, preferably in a manufacturing environment. In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, including PLCs, VFDs, and control systems. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with HMI and automation systems.
