As a Production Technician Lead, you're the go-to expert for all processes and equipment in your department. You drive safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement while providing work direction and leading by example. With a high level of mechanical aptitude, you troubleshoot and operate all systems, collaborating with engineering, Tool & Die, and maintenance to keep everything running smoothly. What You Will Do:
Machine Setup & Troubleshooting:
Set up, troubleshoot, and support advanced technology machines and processes.Team Leadership & Safety:
Coordinate daily tasks, lead safety initiatives, present key metrics, and escalate issues as needed.Equipment Operation:
Start up, operate, and shut down advanced technology equipment and processes.Continuous Improvement:
Drive process improvements and encourage lean initiatives.Training & Development:
Assist in writing training materials and serve as the primary training expert.What You Will Bring:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.Experience:
7+ years in related manufacturing role with Plastic Injection Blow Molding experience.Technical Expertise:
Skilled in operating, troubleshooting, and adjusting complex machinery, including robotic equipment. Quickly learns new technologies, tools, and processes.Problem-Solving:
Strong math skills with the ability to interpret graphs, charts, and ratios. Uses data-driven decisions to prioritize tasks and optimize production.Adaptability:
Seamlessly switches between tasks, machinery, and processes, ensuring efficiency in a fast-paced environment.Critical Thinking:
Works independently with minimal supervision, solving complex problems where guidelines are limited.Precision & Focus:
Performs detailed work with high concentration and accuracy, often under tight deadlines and demanding conditions.Initiative:

The expected starting base pay range for this role is $26 - $32 an hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only.
