Genesis Inc. is currently seeking full-time FedEx Ground drivers who are looking to join a top-tier transportation logistics company. Drivers are responsible for safe and timely handling and delivery of packages to businesses and residential areas on their route. Drivers enjoy independence on the road and develop a rewarding and enjoyable career incorporating customer service, road safety and driving skills. Delivery Driver Responsibilities

• Safe operation of a commercial vehicle in a wide variety of conditions
• Completion of all assigned delivery and pickup stops for the day
• Proper usage of handheld GPS scanner device to record all activity for the day
• Maintain security of all packages and equipment assigned for the day
• Ability to lift, bend, carry & load packages up to 150 pounds (with the assistance of a dolly)
• Follow directions and turn by turn maps (iPad issued in each vehicle)
• Friendly to customers & team members.

FedEx Delivery Driver Requirements:

Must be 21 years or older. Must be able to pass DOT physical as well as a drug screen and criminal background check.

MUST HAVE A CLEAN DRIVING RECORD.

Speeding, Suspension, DUI, reckless op. within the last 5 years = Disqualified for FedEx.12 months of commercial driving experience in the last 3 years is preferred. (examples: food delivery, Uber/Lyft, landscaping, parcel/mail delivery, real estate, home healthcare, etc.) A CDL is not required. Qualified individuals without experience will be considered for training programs.
