This role is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and optimizing injection molding machines to ensure efficient production of high-quality parts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting molding processes, collaborating with production teams, and implementing process improvements. Projects You'll Work On Setting up and adjusting injection molding machines to optimize efficiency and quality. Monitoring and controlling process parameters such as temperature, pressure, and cycle times to ensure consistency. Troubleshooting molding, equipment, and robotics to minimize downtime and defects. Collaborating with production and engineering teams to refine processes and improve cycle times. Supporting new tool launches with processing feedback and validation testing . Programming and troubleshooting robotics to enhance automation efficiency. Assisting in the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure best practices. Maintaining compliance with safety regulations and company policies . Documenting and analyzing process parameters and equipment performance to drive continuous improvement. Staying informed about industry advancements in injection molding technology. What Experience You Should Bring E•xperience as a Process Technician in injection molding•. High school diploma or equivalent (Technical degree or certification preferred). Scientific Molding Certification (Master Molder or similar) preferred. Ability to pass a mold processing test and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills. Strong knowledge of injection molding materials, processes, and troubleshooting techniques . Experience with robot programming and troubleshooting . Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications . Strong attention to detail with a quality-focused mindset . Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Understanding of safety regulations in a manufacturing setting. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs .
