• PRN Mobile Phlebotomist
• to join our team. As a mobile phlebotomist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality blood collection services at patient residences or other designated locations. You must be able to work independently, demonstrate professionalism, and provide excellent patient care in a variety of environments.
• Key Responsibilities
• :•Perform venipunctures and capillary collections for lab testing in mobile and home settings.
• Ensure all patient information is accurately recorded and confidential.
• Collect specimens and properly label, handle, and store them in accordance with company and laboratory guidelines.
• Provide patient education regarding the procedure and ensure their comfort throughout the collection process.
• Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory standards, including HIPAA guidelines.
• Handle any complications, such as fainting or bruising, with appropriate medical procedures.
• Coordinate with lab services to ensure timely and accurate processing of collected specimens.
• Travel to various locations as needed, ensuring all necessary equipment is brought to appointments.
• Maintain mobile equipment and ensure it is in working order, replenishing supplies as necessary.
• Respond promptly and professionally to any changes in scheduling or patient needs.
• Qualifications
• :•High school diploma or equivalent required; Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Previous experience as a phlebotomist or in a clinical setting is highly desirable.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to patient locations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide compassionate patient care.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, adhering to protocols and guidelines.
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple appointments in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of infection control practices and standard safety procedures for blood collection.
• Basic computer skills to document and submit patient information and specimen details.

• Ability to lift and carry equipment (up to 25 lbs) to and from patient locations.
