Role:

Perform the maintenance and alignment of precision machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, semi and automatic machines, precision grinders, and numerical control machines.

What You Will Do:

Communicating major issues in equipment performance and maintenance to the managers; Supporting the team in implementing robust solutions to improve overall efficiency, yield, and uptime of the equipment. Complying with safety, health, and environmental guidelines and participating in continuous improvement of the procedures while performing equipment maintenance. Inspecting machinery and equipment to identify problems and potential solutions, and performing appropriate troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance procedures Knowledge of hardware systems and its functioning; ability to inspect and correct errors with hardware systems and applying measures proactively to ensure stable functioning

What You Have:

High School/GED Ability to work from written and oral instructions Knowledge of troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, detect and resolve technical problems in a manufacturing environment. Summary Pay Range:

$33.29 - $49.94 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
