Pipefitters of all levels (Denver) 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars Denver, CO The Premier Group is currently looking for Pipefitters of all levels to join our team to work on various commercial projects located in Denver, CO , and the surrounding area. 1+ years of experience preferred, but not required. Responsibilities of the Pipefitters of all levels: Ability to read and understand specifications, submittals, building plans, and shop drawings Ability to set up equipment and welding parts using arc, submerged arc, gas-shielded arc, mig and tig machines Assists excavate, backfill, and tamp ditches; cut ream, solder, braze, fuse, solvent weld, groove, thread pipe, and pressfittings using measuring tools, pipe cutters, torches, beveling machines, reamers, bolts, screws, fittings, alloys, gaskets, solvent cement, fusing machine, groove and pipe-threading machines Ability to lay-out, position, align, fit, tack-weld, assemble and install valves, hangers, pipe and fittings composed of metals such as iron, steel, aluminum, brass, copper and nonmetals such as fiberglass and plastic using hand tools, roustabouts, grasshoppers, come-alongs, chain falls, and power tools. Assists plumbers, pipefitters/welders, sheet metal workers or HVAC installers Inspects work and reports any concerns to their director supervisor Maintains the work area in a clean and orderly condition and follows all safety regulations Owns and maintains personal hand tools Requirements of the Pipefitters of all levels: 1+ years experience preferred High school diploma or GED Technical or craft training preferred Must hold appropriate equipment certifications Reliable transportation with a good work ethic Ability to pass a drug screen required The perks of joining our team: Up to $40/hour depending on experience
