JOB SUMMARY
- Assists in various human resource functions; recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, personnel records management, conducting employee orientation programs, and policy enforcement.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead recruiting efforts by facilitating job openings, coordinating with recruiting agencies, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, conducting background/reference checks, testing, and follow-through communications on candidates and the stages in the process.
- Manage the onboarding process for direct hires and temps and lead orientation.
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and facilitation of the following yearly NEBF events: Employee Appreciation Day, Holiday Party, monthly events, etc.
- Transmit payroll and/or salary changes to accounting team and benefit carriers when applicable.
- Reconcile monthly invoicing of benefits.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the executive team.
- Aid in monthly newsletter content creation.
- Facilitate administration of leave paperwork when applicable.
- Assist in yearly compliance reporting such as ACA and EEO.
- Maintain personnel files for employees.
- Manage offboarding process; coordinate exit interview, equipment collection, final pay details, and termination paperwork.
- Update documents and links that are shared with the staff.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned
