is seeking a 2nd Shift Senior Fabrication Welder to join our dynamic production team. Here's what you can look forward to: As a Fabrication Welder II, you will: Perform work with precision, adhering to Standard Work procedures and ensuring the highest quality. Identify and report nonconforming conditions or out-of-standard issues to supervisors for resolution. Collaborate with your team to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and teamwork. Maintain a clean, organized workspace by following 5S methodology. Continuously learn and apply new job skills to enhance overall team effectiveness. Utilize and troubleshoot equipment for MIG, STICK, TIG, and FLUX core welding. Actively participate in identifying and implementing workflow improvements. Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Fab Welder II Position Requirements Experience:
3-5 years of welding experience.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills:
Proficiency in MIG, STICK, TIG, and FLUX core welding. Ability to read and write in English. Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Windows) and math skills. Competence in using hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, pliers, wrenches) and measurement equipment (e.g., rulers, calipers, tape measures).
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stoop, kneel, stand for long periods, and regularly lift up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, and depth perception. Ready to join! Salary Range and Benefits:
The hourly pay range for this position generally ranges between $24.00 - $28.00 Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition, AMETEK provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee assistance program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off.
