Transmissions Negotiation Full Job Description Essential Functions Performed:
(Other functions/tasks may be required besides those listed) Conduct thorough failure analysis of equipment to determine root cause. Order necessary parts for repairs, testing, and other related tasks. Assist with equipment assembly and related tasks as needed. Deliver, install, and repair equipment at customer sites. Develop parts lists for customer orders. Occasionally order parts for stock or special projects. Provide occasional support to sales efforts. Perform necessary repairs, including tasks such as welding, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical fabrication. Core Job Competencies (skills, knowledge, abilities)
Required:
(Others may be required) Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic aptitude and knowledge, with expertise in troubleshooting, testing, and repairing equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Proficient welding skills (if applicable). Knowledge of equipment instrumentation, gauges, and testing procedures. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Knowledge of safety and housekeeping rules and guidelines. Ability to interpret technical documentation. Excellent verbal, listening, and phone communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Effective decision-making skills. Negotiation skills (if applicable). Adaptability and flexibility.
JOB PREREQUISITES

Minimum Education Level, Type, Certification:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Technical School Graduate preferred. 3-5 years of experience in equipment repair and customer service.
