Job Description:
Coordinates business office activities to facilitate efficient patient scheduling, assuring accurate patient registration, medical record management and billing for both clinic and physician services. Principle Responsibilities Coordinates business office activities to facilitate efficient patient scheduling. Organizes work site and work processes to optimize service and operational efficiencies. Supports leadership in daily operations and patient complaint resolution. Assures accurate patient registration. Manages patient electronic medical record. Handles billing for both clinic and physician services. Creates provider schedules, assists with productivity reports and assists and facilitates meetings. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description 0 to 2 years of experience in a health care or medical office setting 0 to 2 years of experience with basic office supervision and management skills 0 to 2 years of experience with health care scheduling Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or GED Associate's or Vocational degree preferred
Physical Demands Sedentary:
Lifting weight Up to 10 lbs. occasionally, negligible weight frequently
Additional Job Description:
1.0 FTE (80 hours per 2-week pay period) 8-hour night shifts On-call weekend rotation
Pay Range:
Pay Range:
$27.04 to $37.07 per hour The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
