$35.-$40. /hr. DOE. No Per Diem. Instrumentation and Electrician Specialist Focus on the oversight, optimization, and strategic management of electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure safe, efficient, andpliant operations.Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, design, and execution of electrical and instrumentation systems, including control systems, PLCs, VFDs, and safety instrumentation. Oversee and support the maintenance of electrical and instrumentation equipment, ensuring reliability andpliance with safety standards. Manage capital projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating resources for the installation and upgrade of I&E systems. Develop training materials and standard operating procedures, and provide guidance to technicians and operators on best practices and troubleshooting techniques Ensure adnce to safety regulations and standards, conduct risk assessments, and participate in incident investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Identify opportunities for system optimization, cost reduction, and process enhancements to improve operational efficiency and reliability. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required for thisPosition:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor's degree in electrical or instrumentation engineering is preferred.Experience:
8-10 years+ of experience in plant I&E maintenance and electrical distribution, with a strong background in troubleshooting and system optimization Applicants must be legally able to work for ANY employer in the United States. Electrical Journeyman'sTDLR & NCCER
