The company specializes in poultry slaughter and wholesale WOG sales. The processing plant operates one processing shift on day shift and one sanitation shift on night shift. This facility processes its potable drinking water and has a full treatment wastewater process. Golden Rod Broilers, Inc. has been in operation since 1957. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Water and Wastewater Manager at Golden Rod Broilers, Inc. This position manages 2-4 operators and is responsible for ensuring the production of safe, potable drinking and processing water for poultry plant productions as well as managing the safe treatment and discharge of wastewater, including maintaining all records required by ADEM or other regulatory agencies. Role Responsibilities Supervise and schedule all water treatment and wastewater employees to ensure adequate coverage to ensure processing plant schedule is uninterrupted. Monitor, manage and approve operator time. Supervise and schedule the daily operations and maintenance of water plant and wastewater plant equipment. Collect or ensure proper collection of all samples, maintain sample plans and submissions of all required test and send to ADEM. Keep and maintain all records as required by ADEM or other regulatory agencies. Prepare all monthly, quarterly and yearly reports as required by ADEM or other regulatory agencies. Order and maintain inventory of all necessary chemicals and supplies. Ensure all operators follow all operational and safety procedures. Train any new employees. Qualifications High School Diploma or

GED. ADEM

Grade IV certification for drinking water. Knowledge of ADEM requirements and regulations. Knowledge of industrial wastewater treatment (Certification a plus) 1+ years experience managing a department with 2 or more employees a plus.
