ENTRY SALARY

$26.88 per hour, plus benefits

JOB SUMMARY

This position assists in the administration of county information technology systems. Participates in the maintenance, administration, and implementation of county networks. Troubleshoots and resolves network issues. Troubleshoots the county's physical and virtual IT infrastructure. Installs and upgrades computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices. Perform Windows Active Directory management. Monitors IT infrastructure for performance issues. Assists in the implementation of disaster recovery plans. Installs, maintains, and upgrades computers systems hardware, networking hardware, and telecommunications software/hardware related to the county's court systems. Researches, recommends, and implements new technology to improve service to users. Interacts with users to determine technology solutions and improve efficiency. Maintains and troubleshoots county email servers. Responds to after-hours emergencies. Performs related duties.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with completion of specialized training in the field of work, in addition to basic skills typically associated with a high school education. Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position, usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship/internship or having had a similar position for one to two years.
