This production-heavy role involves working closely with the Creative Director and collaborating with freelance designers as needed. Responsibilities include photography support, post-production editing, and executing design work within brand guidelines. Experience in both the consumer packaged goods (CPG) and cannabis industries is required, with a solid understanding of design standards in a regulated environment. Key Responsibilities Production & Marketing Design Support the creation and production of print materials, particularly packaging labels, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with legal regulations in the cannabis industry. Support the sales team by creating marketing materials in both print and digital. Use Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, Figma, Express) to prepare files for print and digital use. Maintain meticulous attention to detail when working with brand assets to align with Farmer Group's guidelines and adhere to industry-specific compliance standards. Assist with basic photography and post-production processing to ensure high-quality visuals across all materials. Project Management & Organization Manage multiple projects and vendors with precision, ensuring financial paperwork is kept and deadlines are met without compromising quality. Organize and maintain brand assets, design files, and production templates for easy access and consistency. Assist in label printing when needed Collaboration & Feedback Integration Demonstrate initiative, collaborate effectively across teams, and approach feedback with professionalism and openness. The ability to take a thoughtful, proactive approach to design work, balancing feedback from colleagues with the goal of serving customers outside of the organization. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in production and marketing design. 1+ years of experience in both CPG and the cannabis industry is required Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, with an emphasis on print production knowledge Attention to detail and the ability to follow brand guidelines and compliance with precision Organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Self-starter who is reliable, adaptable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team Knowledge of print production processes and packaging design Excellent communication skills, comfortable taking criticism with the ability to receive feedback professionally Must be willing to relocate if needed and be on-site in Central New York at least three days per week Basic photography and photo editing skills preferred Our Values We believe in innovation, sustainability, integrity, and making a positive impact.
