We are seeking a Security Technician 1 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business Unit.

As part of (SES) Strategic Business Unit you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, it systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high-growth markets.

Full-Time What you'll do: In this role you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electronic security systems. Performing preventive maintenance requirements. Performing inspections, evaluations, and inventory. Leading teams on small moderately complex installation projects. Conducting and documenting daily tool box talks. Installing all head end equipment at both the local and global level per design packages. Programming head end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection and CCTV systems. Troubleshooting and isolating both systems and/or hardware at both a local and global level. Troubleshooting and isolating both systems and/or hardware at both a local and global level. Providing on-site software commissioning and testing. Performing inspections, evaluations, and inventory Key Requirements Please note that in pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U.S. Citizenship status Requires a Valid driver's license This position may require ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle. Selected candidates must possess an acceptable driving record in accordance to our policy. Must pass customer background check after offer is extended

Education:

HS diploma or GED Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours) or Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program or An additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities

Required Progressive Experience:

4+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs 3 years of the above experience must be focused in electronic security systems Strong Oral, Written and Presentation Skills. Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams. Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives. Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint Skills is a plus.

Desired / Advantageous

Qualifications Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch Radionics, Bosch CCTV, Bosch BVMS, Aiphone Intercom Systems AIphone, FFT, DIVAR, Windows operating systems & certifications and experience in installation of said systems.
