• Manufacturing equipment tech for our client in Irvine, CA . We are looking for a highly skilled candidate who has a solid skillset and background of technical, mechanical, and electrical skills. Job Function | Day-to-day
• working with senior mechanic to troubleshoot equipment (labelers, customize equipment, etc.

) perform plc preventative maintenance Performs scheduled maintenance on manufacturing machines and systems. Repairs the malfunction of machines, systems and auxiliary equipment. Routinely checks on machinery and systems for signs of fault in order to prevent or minimize downtime interruptions. Initiates improvement on the functionality of machines and equipment to increase its efficiency. More senior position might act as a team leader to ensure that the work meets agreed targets by directly overseeing team members. Must demonstrate knowledge of the field's policies, procedures and practices. Will become the subject matter expert at higher levels of job. Documents activities accordingly. Candidates should possess direct experience with any or a combination of the following: Gear boxes Conveyors Drive systems Models Control systems Relays Sensors Mechanical and electrical tools Reading and understanding electrical schematics/diagrams Pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Reading and understanding electrical schematics/diagrams Basic PLC and controls troubleshooting Low and high voltage controls LOTO performance Education Bachelor of Science, Electrical engineer or Associate degree in electrical engineering, or technical degree preferred. High school diploma/G.E.D required Experience 4+ years of electrical and mechanical experience, troubleshooting semiconductor equipment The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position.
