ZoomCare is seeking a Medical Assistant to joinour team! The Medical Assistant is responsible for delivering aconsistent Perfect Visit experience in ZoomCare clinics, throughoutstanding customer service and attention to clinical detail. TheMedical Assistant is responsible for scheduling in person andtelehealth appointments, updating medical records, checkingpatients in and out for appointments, performing blood draws,processing labs and maintaining inventory.

Check patients in and out, maintaindemographic and insurance information, process payments, andprovide exceptional customer service by helping patients understandtheir insurance costs and navigate their ZoomCare medicalrecord.

Interview patients, record medical history, take vitalsigns, and perform blood draws, finger sticks, andelectrocardiograms (EKGs) according to medical standards.

Applysplints and dressings, and facilitate simple wound management underprovider ordersProcess and document specimen results, maintaininglaboratory standards and completing proficiency testing to ensurecertification compliance.

Assist providers during exams andprocedures, administer medications and vaccines, and deliveremergency care as needed.

Manage clinic inventory, ordering andstoring supplies, and maintain basic medical equipment.

Collaboratewith the team to improve patient experience, offering feedback andcreative solutions for enhanced care delivery.

Ensure cliniccleanliness and adherence to safety guidelines, supporting overallclinic operations and patient care.administer medication andvaccines as directed by a provider.

QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED equivalent;bachelor's degree preferred.1+ years of Medical Assistantexperience.

Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and communicationskills.

Able to maintain patient privacy andconfidentiality.

Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office,AthenaOne and other relevant software applications.

Excel in afast-paced work environment, thriving under pressure and timeconstraints.

Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification froma recognized and reputable organization (e.g., American HeartAssociation, Red Cross) or the ability to obtain one within 1 monthof hire.

Must be able to obtain a Medical Assistant- Phlebotomistlicense within 6 months of hire, and able to complete the ZoomCareaccelerated phlebotomy courseMust have a Medical Assistant-Registered license.
Preferred:
Current licensure/certification as a;Certified Medical Assistant, Clinical Medical Assistant, NationalCertified Medical Assistant, Clinical Medical AssistantCertification or prior experience as a Medical Assistant -Registered.
