The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and customer service, as well as the ability to handle various types of vehicles and loads. Responsibilities Operate vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, including but not limited to flatbed trucks. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials to prevent damage. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Navigate routes effectively, utilizing GPS or maps to ensure timely deliveries. Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding commercial driving. Communicate with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays encountered during transport. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns or questions from clients. Experience Proven experience in commercial driving is preferred, with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Previous route driving experience, particularly in delivery driver roles.
