As our Solar Panel Inspections Coordinator , you will be responsible for overseeing all inspection-related tasks for our solar panel installations. You'll work closely with building departments, service managers, and installation teams to ensure that inspections are scheduled, completed, and followed up on in a timely manner. You will also handle re-inspections, confirm fees are paid, and ensure that our technicians have everything they need to pass inspections smoothly.Key Responsibilities:
Scheduling Solar Inspections:
Coordinate the scheduling of rough, service, and final inspections with the building departments to ensure timely project completions.Coordinating Inspection Fixes:
Collaborate with the Service Manager and Install Manager to arrange fixes for any failed inspections, ensuring that all issues are addressed promptly.Re-inspection & Fee Management:
Confirm that re-inspection fees are paid before any re-inspection occurs, and inform our engineers, installers, or permit coordinators of any necessary plan-set revisions.Inspection Packet Preparation:
Print and prepare inspection packets for technicians, ensuring they have all relevant documents on-site for solar panel inspections.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree is a plus). Previous experience in solar energy, construction, or permitting coordination is preferred. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with internal teams and external stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) or similar software.
