Heavy Equipment Operator Seneca Landfill, Inc. 421 Hartmann Road, Evans City, PA 16033 Seneca Landfill, Inc. is seeking a heavy equipment operator.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate, in a safe, compliant manner, dozers, graders, excavators, front end loaders, and other equipment as required.
• Spread and compact residential, commercial, and construction and demolition waste disposed of at the landfill facility.
• Spread, compact, and cover refuse with cover material each day.
• Grade and maintain topography.
• Report equipment failures, malfunctions, and maintenance needs.
• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• A minimum of 3 years experience operating heavy equipment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Employees must provide their own safety-approved work boots.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• This position is performed outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
• Ability to frequently work near moving mechanical parts.
• Ability to sit/stand, walk, climb, bend/twist, crouch/crawl, and push/pull required.
• Ability to lift/carry upwards of 50-100 lbs.
