Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Electrical Line Technician with a strong background in high-voltage systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with both overhead and underground three-phase services and a solid understanding of electrical troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Recognize and be able to identify overhead and underground three-phase electrical services
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems using multimeters to check voltage, amperage, etc.
  • Identify line and load service sides and their corresponding disconnects
  • Recognize and work safely with CTs (Current Transformers) and PTs (Potential Transformers)
  • Safely operate an extendo stick and other specialized tools
  • Perform all line work requirements. according to industry safety standards
Preferred:
Experience with self-contained and instrument-rated metering systems (277/480V)
Requirements:
  • Proven experience with three-phase services (overhead and underground)
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Familiarity with utility safety protocols
  • Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required)
  • Must consent to a drug test, background check, and motor vehicle records check
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with self-contained and instrument-rated metering (277/480V)
  • Familiarity with utility service equipment and procedures
