10 Job Responsibilities
  • Under direction of Field Service personnel, installs, tests, maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, and removes electrical, mechanical, and/or hydraulic components and equipment.
  • Assists in coordinating tests or experiments requiring selection and adaptation or modification of a wide variety of test equipment and test procedures.
  • Conducts preliminary analysis of test results and reports findings to senior employees.
  • Assist in the preparation of required documentation and reports. Extracts and analyzes a variety of basic engineering data.
  • Applies conventional engineering practices to develop or prepares schematics, parts lists, or make recommendations regarding these items.
  • Responds to fleet emergency calls from customer and assigned field service personnel and maintains an inventory of parts and tooling for all field service operations. Qualifications/years of experience
  • Mechanical skills required to remove, repair install and test mechanical systems.
  • Weapon systems maintenance and repairs, Experience with US Naval weapon systems
  • Two years of electro-mechanical troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Must have a minimum of a high school GED
  • Navy weapon system "C" school or Automotive Trade school
