Job Title:
QA Process Quality Inspector Job Description The QA Process Quality Inspector will spend the majority of their day (80%) on the production floor, working closely with Production Operators, Production Supervisors, and Production Leads to ensure compliance with cGMPs. This role involves a lot of work with investigations and CAPA, as well as conducting inspections and paperwork reviews. Responsibilities + Communicate shift transfer details with the 3rd shift PQI and production supervisor before the shift starts at 6:00 a.m. + Perform regular walk-arounds of each unit/suite to ensure compliance and provide support to production operators. + Conduct and review necessary paperwork, ensuring no blanks or write-overs, and make real-time corrections and training for incidences/deviations. + Inspect cleanliness and sign off on clean downs, ensuring all parts in the suite are compliant. + Serve as a backup for sampling and labeling raw materials for approval or retesting. + Conduct QA investigations and assist in training related to incidences and deviations. Essential Skills + Experience in GMP, quality assurance, and pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing. + Knowledge of ISO standards including
ISO 9001.
+ 1-3+ years of experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food, or dietary supplement environment. + 1-3+ years of quality-related experience and production floor experience. + High School diploma or Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences with relevant manufacturing experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Clean room experience and auditing/inspection experience is a plus + Experience with batch records and QA checks prior to release is beneficial. + Detail-oriented with strong communication skills. + Ability to work with a variety of people and manage quality issues effectively. + Familiarity with sampling controlled substances, routine inspections, raw material sampling, and status labeling. + Understanding the use of scales and performing daily scale checks. Work Environment The QA Process Quality Inspector will work within a QA team of fewer than 10 members. While overtime is not currently expected, the role may involve overlapping hours with other PQIs. The company offers Cadillac benefits with significant savings and a smaller company environment where employees are valued. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $28.00/hr.
