Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Preventive Field Technician to join our team, specializing in the maintenance of heavy construction equipment (Caterpillar and other) . This hands-on role is critical in ensuring our fleet operates efficiently and safely through scheduled preventive maintenance and basic diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine preventive maintenance (oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, etc.) on heavy construction machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and graders. Conduct basic inspections and identify potential mechanical issues before they become critical. Accurately complete maintenance reports and service records. Travel to various job sites in company-provided service vehicle. Communicate clearly with equipment operators and site supervisors regarding maintenance needs and schedules.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; technical certification in diesel or heavy equipment maintenance preferred. 2+ years of experience performing maintenance on heavy equipment. Working knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid driver's license with clean driving record; CDL a plus. Must have trade tools.
