Our specialties include commercial asphalt maintenance and repair, concrete install and replacement, and new construction services. We are currently looking for a Rolling Operato r for our Cocoa, FL location. As a Rolling Operator, the essential duties include the following: Operate asphalt rollers to compact and smooth newly laid asphalt on roads, highways, parking lots, and other paved surfaces. Monitor and control the rolling process to ensure that the asphalt is compacted to the proper density and smoothness according to project specifications. Work closely with the paving crew to maintain proper rolling patterns and ensure a seamless surface finish. Ensure rolling equipment is properly positioned and operated to avoid damage to the fresh asphalt surface. Perform pre- and post-operational checks on equipment, ensuring all components are in proper working order. Report any equipment malfunctions or required repairs to the foreman or maintenance personnel. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company safety policies and procedures. Assist in other areas of asphalt paving as needed, including minor labor tasks, material handling, or other machine operation. Communicate with the paving foreman and other crew members to coordinate movements and ensure smooth operations. Perform other duties as assigned.
